About him
Like most people here, I’m using Telegraph Dating to cast the net a little wider in my relationship search, and see who else is out there. Maybe you’re doing the same?
Who am I?
I'd say I'm pretty much a get up and go sort of person. I don't spend much of my life complaining or criticising, rather doing and trying to improve my life.
I am a slave to curiosity. I rarely settle on being told things.
I believe in politeness and integrity, old fashioned qualities, but they are integral to who I am.
I am relatively conservative in my behaviour and tastes, but that shouldn’t be mistaken for a lack of humour or lack of adventure. I am considered quite funny by my friends. I will often be the first person to make strangers feel welcome, and people remember it.
By day, I'm a lawyer.
As a child I discovered classical music, and my love for it never died. I am now a classically trained (amateur) pianist, and it forms an important part of my life. I am also an amateur composer, and have conducted a few premières of my works. I'm also building on my interest in jazz, and enjoy early musicals.
It would be great to meet somebody who enjoys, or is curious to learn more about, these sound worlds. I think it would be difficult to date somebody who had little or no interest in the arts.
I enjoy reading, when I have the time! Currently reading about quantum physics :)
I have been a qualified solicitor for more than four years now, and am steadily advancing in my career. That being said, I have big ambitions outside of law and am driven to achieve them (I just need a bit of a push!)
While advancing my career and getting on the property ladder, I have rather neglected my love life, and now want to put this right and change my focus.
I enjoy travelling.

I am a lover of knowledge and seeker of truth. My ideal partner would ideally share that impulse, or want to learn more.
I guess I am looking for someone who is more eccentric, maybe an ESFJ or ENFJ (if that means anything to you!). I'm an 'ISTJ', and I find this matches my profile fairly well. Myers Briggs is of course a spectrum, so best not to treat it as a science, but gets pretty close.
It would be gret to hear from you if you are a compassionate, loving, intelligent, classy lady. In return I can offer you genuine love and affection.
Although I am attracted to extroversion, to complement my introversion, a big turn off for me are people that talk excessively about themselves or exaggerate their accomplishments!
