Hello there!
Have you ever stumbled into someone who has a black belt in tent pitching, who tends to fall off ladders a lot, who also once briefly and very tragically had to sell mankini's to earn a living, and likes to 'squiggle' arty things when in charge of a computer, or 9b pencil - well, if not previously - you have now:)
I have a bit of an artistic background, love swimming, the beach, history, reading, and good company.
I have a love of live music, and I'm always found to be at my happiest when luxuriating in the sun or mud, at a festival, or trudging around the wild and windy moor, admiring the clouds, hills...and err (squelch!) the bogs; love walking the coast too. I like most things that bark and all things that purr, so I’m quite animal friendly…oh and apparently I like hamsters..... well, at least that’s what my daughter informed me when she once delivered her rodent pal to my doorstep. Almost forgot -` a bit of a backpacker and love to trave/explorel near or far.
Films-TV: I will watch anything from high brow, to trash, anything with David Attenborough, and those funny accents in Poldark.
Food: I eat far too much yet mysteriously remain as slim as a cheetah - I'm not sure how that works?
Music: I love discovering old and new....I just can't remember what most of the new stuff is called.
I have had to focus on work and family a great deal over the last few years; I am now freeing up my time my, as daughters are older and quite independent, so that I can meet my needs a little better. I prefer to meet, have a chat and a laugh, to see how we get on, as opposed to swapping three zillion e mails, as this I find tells you very little of what's important about the chemistry between two people.
So - if you are NOT the 'Material Girl' that Madonna sang about, have a sprinkling of empathy and a good sense of humour (you’ll probably need one). If maybe you like some of the things I do - then drop me a line.
