Recently an old childhood mate and I travelled 11,000 miles by train from my nearest Derbyshire railway station to Moscow, then The Trans Siberian Express to China, and down into the Asian Tropics to the equator. The journey ended with a Singapore Sling (or 3) in Raffles long bar!
