I still have my own teeth, hair & joints. I have no hearing in one ear (since birth), but that doesn't affect my ability to socialise. It just means sweet nothings need to be whispered into my left ear!
I am lucky to have been able to take early retirement from a very successful career (I've had the expensive sports car, own my own house & am debt free), but losing my husband in February has taught me that life is short & what matters most is living every day doing what you enjoy most & as if it's your last, because none of us know what's round the corner.
I love to travel & holiday whenever I feel the need. I love beach holidays in the sunshine; being on a beach listening to gentle waves lapping the shore is my happy place, but I also like to explore the culture of new destinations. I'm also just as happy being on a beach with my dogs in the UK.

I am a Widow (always hated that word), starting a new chapter in my life. I'm very independent, am happy in my own company & have a very wide friendship circle, but would love to meet someone who shares my passion for life.
