Looking forward to more time for fun, be it travel, theatre, live music or just walking and pub lunches. My family (which includes 5 children, 4 grandchildren) and friends are important to me but I also like meeting new people. I play a bit of golf, reluctant gardening and love a wide variety of music from punk to hip hop to baroque choral. To annoy my kids I did an OU degree in my 50's and as a result I read lots (mostly contemporary fiction). I've returned to a bit of amateur acting after a few years of directing which is great fun. I retired at the end of last year but only lasted 2 months and have returned to work (part time) by retraining as a dementia carer. I can cope with a bit of DIY and can cook pretty well. I am quite involved in a couple of organisations in my local community as well as being a trustee of a national disability sports charity.
