About him
I like open fires, sea views and landscapes. I enjoy camping near the coast in the summer; seeing the snow in the winter and particularly look forward to the autumn.
I work hard at my job, in a career I worked hard for, and at the end of it I go back to a home I love, and relax. I believe that everything happens for a reason; that reason being the individual had the inclination, patience and integrity to make it happen, luck being just a part of it.
I like being out doors all day and cooking something amazing at the end of it; using locally farmed, or cured, produce.
I admire tradition and originality in equal measure and some my tastes may be described as quite contemporary. When it comes to literature and film: what draws all my tastes together is satire. I was probably the youngest to grow up with the Rob Newman and David Baddiel in their Mary Whitehouse experience era, but follow the genre which has been generally kept alive by the likes of Dylan Moran.
We don't need to have the same hobbies, as being able to have space in a relationship is important, we do need to have a similar sense of humour and the ability to be relaxed in each others company. I also like dogs and would live with a terrier if my circumstances were different.
I go mountain biking and, when opportunities are there, sailing and rowing. I rarely get excited about football; I’m just more orientated to rugby or games which incorporate sticks.
