I am a happy-go-lucky, hard working man. I have had a long, stable and successful career, which I may continue into retirement. My job affords me lots of travel and the opportunity to meet and work with many interesting people.
I love to take holidays both internationally and, within our beautiful country. I don't particularly like to sit on a beach for a fortnight, I would prefer to get out and experience what the area has to offer.
I love to cook but, don't expect gourmet cuisine - just good wholesome, tasty food. I find there is nothing better than sharing the kitchen, chatting to loved ones with a glass of good red wine.
I don't partake in any sports or go jogging etc. but, I am reasonably fit and love walking. I am tactile and affectionate and I give really good hugs.

It would be great to find someone who is willing to share my interests and, whose interests I can share. Someone that is happy to drop everything and go away for the weekend or, pop to the coast for the day.
Perhaps we could take a walk on the beach or through the countryside, share good conversation curled up on the sofa (in front of the fire maybe). I'm very partial to good coffee and a nice piece of cake. Care to join me?
What I don't want is someone who is confrontational, argumentative and/or negative. Life is far too short for this. No awkward silences and no games - I just want a normal life.
