I'm a happy-go-lucky kind of person, upbeat and positive, supportive, kind, honest and sensitive. I write for a living and am, also, working on a novel in my spare time. Love long walks/hikes, photography, history, architecture, landscapes, sketching and, of course, reading. Always up for a theatre, concert or literary event. Keep a cool head in a crisis. Organised and pretty sensible. My pet hate? I can't stand rudeness or lying.

I'd really like to meet a guy who's pretty sorted, doesn't need me to run his life but would very much like me in it. My ideal match would be observant, articulate, kind, honest, self-aware, interested in others, and have a brilliant sense of humour. It would be great to find someone who has plenty going on, a sense of direction in life and perspective. What I'd really like is a partner to do stuff with, whether that's explore new places, go to the theatre or visit family and friends. Deal breaker? Someone too focused on the material things in life or who needs to control everything.
