About him
I am semi-retired now having given up full-time employment in 2015. This allows me lots of spare time to enjoy long weekends away as well as pursuing my various interests. Much of my interests revolve around sport and music. As well as watching sports, I continue to participate in many including tennis, golf, football and skiing. Music is also important to me, and I enjoy many genres from classical to rock. I also play a number of instruments including the trumpet, sax and bagpipes! I have been a member of a concert band for many years and have travelled extensively with them across the country and in Europe.
I enjoy travelling and have visited many countries across the world both in a professional capacity as well as on a personal basis. Walking in The Lakes and Yorkshire Dales is a passion of mine and I visit regularly when I need to get out into the country.
