What's the saying? Life begins at forty! Well I'm hoping it begins at sixty something.
I have a big heart which needs sharing which sounds easy but it hasn't quite been the case.
I am not a party animal, however am happiest when around animals, dogs and horses, and even sheep. I have been used to living in a small holding environment therefore the country living style is definitely what suits me.
I am social but not extrovert. I am perfectly happy with a small circle of friends whilst enjoying the benefits of a country life not least the open spaces and ability to actually breath.
Not a great cook, not really been given the chance to shine in that department but definitely willing to take up that challenge. Happiest in a comfy country restaurant / pub rather than ostentatious venue.
Life has thrown up challenges for all of us but it's how we deal with them that defines us.

What am I seeking. This ought to be easy right? However, it's not as easy to write as it is to think it.
I am trying to avoid clichés however here we go...
It would be heaven if I could meet someone who is ambitious and driven, with goals, but not materialistic per se. I want to be with someone who can love me unconditionally for who I am and not for what I might provide.
Someone with intelligence, a mind of there own yes, but who is also compassionate, understanding of others and tolerant.
If an animal lover that's a massive bonus as is happy to be living in a rural setting rather than city life.
A social drinker yes, but not a pub oholic (if that's even a thing) and being a non smoker is important as smoking is a no go for me.
Someone who likes to travel would win bonus points as the world is a never ending source of education, adventure and amazement.
