Calming down now after a full and busy life with kids and animals. Actually it's been quieter for a while as one son married and living in NZ. However I will always try and have a few hols to interesting or exotic new places and an annual trip to NZ to avoid a month or two of our winter. I can do posh which is nice sometimes but to really see the world it's best to live amongst the local folk.
I am outgoing and have an opinion, but in this world now I sometimes avoid too challenging a conversation when I feel people don't know enough about the subject. I guess that's after living life. I despair of our politicians! Since the Brexit mistake we seem to have unravelled badly.
Had a 'solo' Saga holiday to Rhine Gorge a few months ago and really enjoyed it; and it's the reason I am coming on here!!!! A companion maybe for my next trip!

I guess to see through the final 'Twilight Years' I would still like a man who puts best foot forward and just enjoys the moment but with some style.and sophistication. Someone who is interested in the worlds happenings (and yes politics !) After all the years of hard work we deserve to go out there and enjoy ourselves. I have always been independent and with my work in a male environment, I still sort of avoid large groups of women. I have been involved with the ladies who lunch when my 2 boys were at school. Now I prefer a lunch or dinner with just one or two friends!
A man who knows what he still wants in life! I guess 6ft and a good head of hair and perfect teeth is asking a bit much at this stage in life so I would settle for happy and interesting!!!! Apologies ... I am far from perfect but I am trying to look after what remains intact!!!!
