The Three Legged Dog.
This doggy tale was told by my daughter,
All fact checked; please believe her –
A rescue dog from Bosnia,
“Spotted” on-line from Geneva.
“Ooh Mummy” came the children’s cry,
“If we don’t choose her, she will die -
“It’s out of the question to leave her...
Mummy agreed;
Daddy consulted –
Objection overruled,
(Since when he’s felt insulted.)
“Come on Daddy, don’t do a Trump....
“You lost the vote three to one.
“Forget a recount; accept today,
“Doggy Democracy has won!”
The dog’s called Moni, she has three legs.
She runs so fast, as if she had four.
It seems that sometimes in Nature,
Having less, you wind up with more.
