About her
I am a smiley, bubbly quick witted lady who wears her heart on her sleeve (and often my face). I can't help but cry at sad movies.
I come across as confident at first but this is just a front and struggle to talk to strangers often not work related but when I get to know someone you will find me warm, caring, funny (I hope).
I grew up and raised my family in the Midlands and moved to Devon during the pandemic to my dream home by the sea. I WFH and have been doing a lot of DIY in my new home which still needs some TLC so I don't know many locals as yet .
I enjoy 60s and seventies music and Gold or Heart are usually on in the background whilst I'm working. I even learned to rock and roll dance but its been a while so probably quite rusty. I do love 70s/80s rock music too and can't help but feel a buzz when I hear the opening bars of a good rock classic.
I warn you I love to sing along! It doesn't matter what, if I know the words, in the car, whilst cleaning or doing DIY or even in the pub (though not karaoke) and i do like a musical now and again.
Family is important to me. I have 2 children who have grown up and flown the nest and quite a large extended family and I make a point of keeping in touch, visiting regularly and supporting where I can.
I like animals and have 2 small dogs, I like a leisurely stroll through countryside or the beach, picnics, watching a good movie cuddled up on the sofa, holidays and the odd cruise.
