About him
I consider myself a normal chap with the good standards of grooming and hygiene as I would expect in others.
Originally from Middlesex I arrived in Shropshire in 2017.
I had a varied 50 year working life which to took me around the country in different job roles. I'm currently looking at volunteering in the charity sector.
In my retired years I have returned to the world of motorcycling which I enjoy immensely, gardening which I'm reasonably proficient at although I probably following the "two chance" method, genealogy and have traced my paternal line back to the early 1600's and have unearthed some surprising and very sad situations.
I enjoy putting together playlists on Spotify and listening to music most days. Artists and genre are plentiful. The golden age for me was probably mid 60's to early 90's. I read and keep up with current affairs and enjoy listening to audiobooks mostly through my earbuds while I'm doing some other activity. At the moment I'm on DuoLingo learning Welsh having done Dutch and Spanish before that. No particular reason other than it keeps my mind active.
I like being out in nature walking, mainly on the flat these days, taking a holiday on a sunny beach, particularly Fuertaventura, or enjoying relaxing in my garden. I am a NT member and have probably made close to 80 visits over the last 12 months. I live fairly close to Powis Castle and Attingham Park which both have fabulous gardens (and good coffee and cake!)
If I watch TV it'll be mainly quiz shows, documentary programs and sport unless I have something more interesting to do. I live comfortably on my own in my own home. I am comfortable doing my thing but it would be so much nicer to be sharing the day to day flotsam and jetsam of life and interests of a partner.
I don't "do" politics or religion. I'm absolutely fine with others who have particular views on the subjects, just don't expect me to go along with them. If you can't accept I can have a different viewpoint to you and can't agree to differ then pass on by.
